Liaisons dangereuses: the lesson of images, the sound of images

17/05 -17/06/2011
Club 50x50

Video presentation: Liaisons dangereuses: the lesson of images, the sound of images. A screening
of avant-garde films and video-art.
The programme of the show should be understood as a walk through a jungle of sounds and sensations. Sounds, music or noise are not perceived solely by the ear but also by the eye. Music creates images. It is not subservient to the image. It is its alter ego. It is the heartbeat of the body of the image. What the audience is going to realise is that images might be seen with the ear. Hearing sees.
Marc Mercier
Introduction by Samuel Bester.
The works will be shown until 17 June.
